Fleetwood Mac - Go Your Own Way - 1977

This is a great song. They were so cool back in the day. I love the fashion in the 70's because it was so flamboyant and laughable. The sound quality is not the best, but that is not really the most important aspect of the video. It is a glimpse into the past when music seemed to be a better quality and lyric were thought out. Oh the good ol' days. And Stevie Nick is amazing!

Here is a selection of music that I love and will always love. I tend to enjoy Rock n' Roll more than any other genre, but I also enjoy some of the older Country and techno. My favorite band is Fleetwood Mac.

The Story of My Life....

Where I was born is not where I was raised. I was born in Dardanelle, Arkansas in 1979. I caught the tail end of the hippies and all that free love business.

My family lived about 15 miles away in Ola, Arkansas. It was a small town and the population was around 1,000 before we moved in 1996.

My step dad got a job in Evanston, Wyoming and we left Arkansas behind, which was totally fine with me. I didn't really belong in that atmosphere, because it was too stodgy and boring.

When we finally got to Evanston it was almost magical. The differences were apparent:
1. The elevation was 361 ft in Ola and Evanston is 6,749 ft.
2. The climate the average temperature in Ola was 60 degrees and Evanston was 53 degrees. You also have to figure in humidity, the average is 85% in Ola, and the average is 40% in Evanston. The humidity is what makes Arakansas a sauna in the summer time. Evanston had very low humidity and at 90 degrees felt like 75 in Ola.
3. The culture is totally different as well. Coming from the south to the north was life changing for me. I did not relate to the people of my hometown. I was and still am a dreamer and what I envisioned for my life I could not obtain in that small town. I wanted to travel, write, visit other states and one day other countries. I could not do that there.
